14 Then we will no longer be little children, tossed by the waves and blown around by every wind of teaching, 4:14 Rm 15:4; Heb 13:9 by human cunning with cleverness in the techniques of deceit.
25 Therefore, putting away 4:25 Pr 31:25 lying, speak the truth, each one to his neighbor, 4:25 Zch 8:16, 4:25 Zch 8:16 because we are members of one another.
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.
25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.
14 so that we may no longer be children, [Matt. 11:7;Heb. 13:9;James 1:6;Jude 12] tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in ch. 6:11deceitful schemes.
25 Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you Zech. 8:16;Col. 3:9;[ver. 15] speak the truth with his neighbor, for Rom. 12:5we are members one of another.
14 Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.
25 So stop telling lies. Let us tell our neighbors the truth, for we are all parts of the same body.

25 Therefore, putting away lying, Zech. 8:16; Eph. 4:15; Col. 3:9"Let each one ofyou speak truth with his neighbor," for Rom. 12:5we are members of one another.

25 Therefore, ridding yourselves of falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, because we are parts of one another.
14 That henceforth we be no more children tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the wickedness of men, by cunning craftiness, by which they lie in wait to deceive. 25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak; ye the truth every man with his neighbour; for we are members one of another.
14-16 No prolonged infancies among us, please. We’ll not tolerate babes in the woods, small children who are easy prey for predators. God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love—like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love.
25 What this adds up to, then, is this: no more lies, no more pretense. Tell your neighbor the truth. In Christ’s body we’re all connected to each other, after all. When you lie to others, you end up lying to yourself.
