The Purpose of This Gospel

30 Jesus performed many other signs  * 20:30 Jn 2:11; 21:25 in the presence of his disciples that are not written  * 20:30 1Jn 1:4 in this book.  * 20:30 2Tm 4:1331 But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah,  * 20:31 Mt 1:17; Ac 18:5; 1Jn 2:22; 5:1 the Son  * 20:31 Jn 5:19 of God,  * 20:31 Or that the Messiah, the Son of God, is Jesus,* 20:31 Heb 1:2 and that by believing you may have life in his name.  * 20:31 Jn 10:27; 1Jn 3:23
