Romans 8

26 In the same way the Spirit also helps us in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for as we should,  * 8:26 Mt 20:22; 2Co 12:8 but the Spirit himself intercedes for us  * 8:26 Some mss omit for us,* 8:26 Jn 14:16; Rm 8:15–16; Eph 6:18 with inexpressible groanings. 27 And he who searches our hearts  * 8:27 Ps 139:1–5; Lk 16:15; Ac 1:24; Rv 2:23 knows the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
