Romans 8

5 For those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on the things of the flesh,  * 8:5 Gl 5:19–25 but those who live according to the Spirit have their minds set on the things of the Spirit. 6 Now the mindset of the flesh  * 8:6 Gl 6:8 is death,  * 8:6 Rm 6:21 but the mindset of the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mindset of the flesh is hostile  * 8:7 Jms 4:4 to God because it does not submit to God’s law. Indeed, it is unable to do so. 8 Those who are in the flesh  * 8:8 Rm 7:5 cannot please God.
