14 But *thou*, abide in those things which thou hast learned, and {of which} thou hast been fully persuaded, knowing of whom thou hast learned {them};

15 and that from a child thou hast known the sacred letters, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, through faith which {is} in Christ Jesus.

14 Du aber bleib bei dem, was du gelernt hast und wovon du völlig überzeugt bist! Du weißt ja, wer deine Lehrer waren,

15 und bist von frühester Kindheit an mit den heiligen Schriften vertraut, die dir die Weisheit vermitteln können, die zur Rettung nötig ist - zur Rettung durch den Glauben an Jesus Christus.
