16 do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention {of you} at my prayers,

17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give you {the} spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of him,

16 Immer wieder denke ich in meinen Gebeten an euch.

17 Und ich bitte den Gott unseres Herrn Jesus Christus, den Vater der Herrlichkeit, dass er euch durch seinen Geist Weisheit gibt und euch zeigt, wie er selbst ist, dass ihr ihn erkennen könnt.
