20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and keep me on this road that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and a garment to put on,

22 And this stone, which I have set up {for} a pillar, shall be God's house; and of all that thou wilt give me I will without fail give the tenth to thee.

20 Dann legte Jakob ein Gelübde ab: "Wenn Gott mir beisteht und mich auf meiner Reise behütet, wenn er mir Nahrung und Kleidung gibt

22 Und hier an dieser Stelle, wo ich den Stein aufgestellt habe, soll ein Haus Gottes stehen. Und von allem, was du mir gibst, werde ich dir treu den zehnten Teil zurückgeben."
