19 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, Verily, verily, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of himself save whatever he sees the Father doing: for whatever things *he* does, these things also the Son does in like manner.

19 Laonde Gesù rispose, e disse loro: In verità, in verità, io vi dico, che il Figliuolo non può far nulla da sè stesso, ma fa ciò che vede fare al Padre, perciocchè le cose ch’esso fa, il Figliuolo le fa anch’egli simigliantemente.
