9 And Jehovah said to Moses, I see this people, and behold, it is a stiff-necked people.

10 And now let me alone, that my anger may burn against them, and I may consume them; and I will make of thee a great nation.

9 Und Jahwe sprach zu Mose: Ich sehe nun wohl, daß dieses Volk ein halsstarriges Volk ist.

10 So laß mich nun, daß mein Zorn gegen sie entbrenne, und ich sie vernichte; dann will ich dich zum StammVater eines großen Volkes machen.
