10 And he said to them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions to them for whom nothing is prepared; for the day is holy to our Lord; and be not grieved, for the joy of Jehovah is your strength.

10 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Geht hin, eßt fette Speisen und trinkt süße Getränke und schickt Gerichte als Festgeschenke an die, für die nicht angerichtet ist; denn der heutige Tag ist unserem Herrn heilig. Darum seid nicht traurig, denn die Freude an Jahwe, die ist eure Schutzwehr!
