6 So that we begged Titus that, according as he had before begun, so he would also complete as to you this grace also;
10 And I give my opinion in this, for this is profitable for you who began before, not only to do, but also to be willing, a year ago. 11 But now also complete the doing of it; so that as there was the readiness to be willing, so also to complete out of what ye have.
6 Insomuch that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also. 10 And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago. 11 Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have.
6 So we urged Titus, just as he had earlier made a beginning, to bring also to completion this act of grace on your part.
10 And here is my judgment about what is best for you in this matter. Last year you were the first not only to give but also to have the desire to do so. 11 Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means.
6 Accordingly, ver. 17;ch. 12:18we urged Titus that as he had started, so he should complete among you ver. 19;[ver. 4]this act of grace.
10 And in this matter 1 Cor. 7:25I give my judgment: Deut. 15:7,8;Prov. 19:17;28:27;1 Tim. 6:18,19;Heb. 13:16this benefits you, who ch. 9:2a year ago started not only to do this work but also to desire to do it. 11 So now finish doing it as well, so that your readiness in desiring it may be matched by your completing it out of what you have.
6 So we have urged Titus, who encouraged your giving in the first place, to return to you and encourage you to finish this ministry of giving.
10 Here is my advice: It would be good for you to finish what you started a year ago. Last year you were the first who wanted to give, and you were the first to begin doing it. 11 Now you should finish what you started. Let the eagerness you showed in the beginning be matched now by your giving. Give in proportion to what you have.

10 And in this 1 Cor. 7:25, 40I give advice: (Prov. 19:17; Matt. 10:42; 1 Tim. 6:18, 19; Heb. 13:16)It is to your advantage not only to be doing what you began and 1 Cor. 16:2; 2 Cor. 9:2were desiring to do a year ago; 11 but now you also must complete the doing ofit; that as therewas a readiness to desire it, so there also maybe a completion out of what you have.
