17 Denn das schnell vorübergehende Leichte unserer Drangsal bewirkt uns ein über die Maßen überschwengliches, ewiges Gewicht von Herrlichkeit, 18 indem wir nicht das anschauen, was man sieht, sondern das, was man nicht sieht; denn das, was man sieht, ist zeitlich, das aber, was man nicht sieht, ewig.
17 For our momentary and light affliction works for us in surpassing measure an eternal weight of glory; 18 while we look not at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen; for the things that are seen are for a time, but those that are not seen eternal.
