5 Als nun Jesus die Augen aufhob und sah, daß eine große Volksmenge zu ihm kommt, spricht er zu Philippus: Woher sollen wir Brote kaufen, auf daß diese essen? 6 Dies sagte er aber, ihn zu versuchen; W. ihn versuchend denn er selbst wußte, was er tun wollte. 7 Philippus antwortete ihm: Für zweihundert Denare Brote reichen nicht für sie hin, auf daß ein jeder etwas weniges bekomme.
5 Jesus then, lifting up his eyes and seeing that a great crowd is coming to him, says to Philip, Whence shall we buy loaves that these may eat? 6 But this he said trying him, for he knew what he was going to do. 7 Philip answered him, Loaves for two hundred denarii are not sufficient for them, that each may have some little portion.
