2 Mache dich auf und gehe in das Haus des Töpfers hinab, und daselbst werde ich dich meine Worte hören lassen. 3 Und ich ging in das Haus des Töpfers hinab, und siehe, er machte eine Arbeit auf der Scheibe. 4 Und das Gefäß, das er aus dem Ton machte, mißriet in der Hand des Töpfers; und er machte wiederum ein anderes Gefäß daraus, wie es zu machen den Töpfer gut dünkte. 5 Und das Wort Jehovas geschah zu mir also: 6 Vermag ich euch nicht zu tun wie dieser Töpfer, Haus Israel? spricht Jehova; siehe, wie der Ton in der Hand des Töpfers, also seid ihr in meiner Hand, Haus Israel.
2 Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. 3 And I went down to the potter’s house; and behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. 4 And the vessel that he made was marred, as clay, in the hand of the potter; and he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make. 5 And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying, 6 House of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith Jehovah. Behold, as the clay in the potter’s hand, so are ye in my hand, house of Israel.
