Jah merkst auf *O. behältst die Ungerechtigkeiten: Herr, wer wird bestehen? 4 Doch bei dir ist Vergebung, *Eig. das Vergeben damit du gefürchtet werdest.

5 Ich warte *O. hoffe… hofft auf Jehova, meine Seele wartet; *O. hoffe… hofft und auf sein Wort harre ich. 6 Meine Seele harrt auf den Herrn, mehr als die Wächter auf den Morgen, die Wächter auf den Morgen. 7 Harre, Israel, auf Jehova! denn bei Jehova ist die Güte, und viel Erlösung bei ihm. 8 Und er, er wird Israel erlösen von allen seinen Ungerechtigkeiten.

A Song of degrees.

1 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
