1 Kommet, lasset uns Jehova zujubeln, lasset uns zujauchzen dem Felsen unseres Heils! 2 Lasset uns ihm entgegengehen mit Lob, *O. Dank lasset uns mit Psalmen ihm zujauchzen! 3 Denn ein großer Gott *El ist Jehova, und ein großer König über alle Götter; 4 In dessen Hand die Tiefen der Erde, und dessen die Höhen der Berge sind; 5 Dessen das Meer ist, er hat es ja gemacht; und das Trockene, seine Hände haben es gebildet. 6 Kommet, lasset uns anbeten und uns niederbeugen, lasset uns niederknien vor Jehova, der uns gemacht hat!

7 Denn er ist unser Gott, und wir sind das Volk seiner Weide und die Herde seiner Hand. -Heute, wenn ihr seine Stimme höret, 8 Verhärtet euer Herz nicht, wie zu Meriba, wie am Tage von Massa in der Wüste; 9 Als eure Väter mich versuchten, mich prüften, und sie sahen doch mein Werk! 10 Vierzig Jahre hatte ich Ekel an dem Geschlecht, und ich sprach: Ein Volk irrenden Herzens sind sie. Aber sie haben meine Wege nicht erkannt; 11 So daß ich schwur in meinem Zorn: Wenn sie in meine Ruhe eingehen werden!
