A Ceia do Senhor

16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

17 Because we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake from the one bread.

18 And while they were reclining and eating, Jesus said, "Assuredly, I say to you, one of you eating with Me will betray Me."

19 And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to Him one by one, "[Is it] I?"And another said, "[Is it] I?"

20 But answering He said to them, "[It is] one of the twelve, the [one] dipping with Me in the bowl.

21 The Son of Man indeed is going away just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man not to have been born."

2 And after supper, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him,

3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God,

4 He rose from the supper and laid aside His garments, and having taken a towel, He girded Himself.

5 Then He poured water into a basin and began to wash the feet of the disciples, and to dry [them] with the towel with which He was girded.

21 When Jesus had said these things, He was troubled in His spirit, and testified and said, "Most assuredly I say to you, one of you will betray Me."

22 Therefore the disciples were looking at one another, perplexed about whom He was speaking.

23 Now there was reclining on Jesus' bosom one of His disciples, [the one ]whom Jesus loved.

24 Simon Peter therefore motioned to him to inquire who it might be about whom He was speaking.

25 Then, leaning back thus on Jesus' chest, he said to Him, "Lord, who is it?"

26 Jesus answered, "It is the [one] to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it."And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

27 And after the piece of bread, then Satan entered him. Therefore Jesus said to him, "What you do, do quickly."

28 But no one reclining at the table knew for what purpose He said [this] to him.

29 For some were thinking, since Judas had the money box, that Jesus was saying to him, "Buy [the ]things of which we need for the feast,"or that he should give something to the poor.

30 Therefore having received the piece of bread, he then went out immediately. And it was night.

20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the [life] which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

53 Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.

54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up in the last day.

55 For My flesh truly is food, and My blood truly is drink.

56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.

57 Just as the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.

22 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."

23 And taking the cup and giving thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it.

24 And He said to them, "This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.

25 Assuredly I say to you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God."

14 When the hour had come, He reclined [to eat], and the twelve apostles with Him.

15 Then He said to them, "I have fervently desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;

16 for I say to you, that no longer will I eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God."

7 Now on the first [day] of the week, the disciples being assembled to break bread, Paul was discussing with them, being about to leave on the next day, and extended his message until midnight.

26 And as they were eating, Jesus took the bread, and giving thanks, He broke [it], and gave [it] to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."

27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave [it] to them, saying, "Drink of it, all [of you],

28 for this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many, for the forgiveness of sins.

29 But I say to you, that I will by no means drink of this fruit of the vine from now [on,] until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom."

30 And having sung hymns, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were put to death to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another-to Him who was raised from the dead, so that we might bear fruit to God.

5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions aroused through the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death.

6 But now we were released from the law, having died in [that] to which we were held fast, so that we should serve as slaves in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes.

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."

17 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, "Take this and divide it among yourselves;

18 for I say to you, that I will by no means drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."

19 And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me."

20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.

33 Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.

34 But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest you come together for judgment. And the rest I will put in order when I come.

15 And on account of this He is the Mediator of the new covenant, so that, since a death has occurred for redemption of the transgressions at the time of the first covenant, that those having been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

16 For where there [is] a testament, there is necessity for death to be offered of the [one] making the testament.

17 For a testament is valid over dead [people], since it is never valid when the [one] making the testament lives.

27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord irreverently will be guilty of the body of the Lord and of the blood of the Lord.

28 But let a man examine himself, and in this way let him eat from the bread and drink from the cup.

29 For he that eats and drinks irreverently eats and drinks judgment to himself, not judging correctly the body of the Lord.

30 Because of this many among you are weak and sick, and many have died.

23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered unto you: that the Lord Jesus, during the night in which He was betrayed, took bread;

24 and having given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which has been broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me."

25 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."

26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes.

19 And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me."

20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.

23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered unto you: that the Lord Jesus, during the night in which He was betrayed, took bread;

7 Then came the Day of Unleavened Bread, when the Pascal Lamb must be killed.

8 And He sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and prepare the Passover for us, so that we may eat [it]."

9 So they said to Him, "Where do You desire [that ]we shall prepare [it]?"

10 And He said to them, "Behold, when you have entered the city, a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he goes in.

11 Then you shall say to the master of the house, 'The Teacher says to you, "Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?"'

12 And that [man] will show you a large, furnished upper room; there prepare [it]."

13 So they went and found it just as He had said to them, and they prepared the Passover.

14 When the hour had come, He reclined [to eat], and the twelve apostles with Him.

21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord's table and of the table of demons.

20 Therefore when you assemble in the same [place], it is not to eat the Lord's Supper.

21 For when you eat, each one takes first his own supper, and one goes hungry and another is drunk!

22 What? Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God, and disgrace those who do not have? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you!

5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be [in the likeness] of [His] resurrection;

6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified [with Him], so that the body of sin may be done away with, [that] we should no longer serve sin.

7 For he who has died has been justified from sin.

8 But if we died with Christ, we believe that we also shall live together with Him,

9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, no longer dies. Death is no longer master [over] Him.

10 For what [death] He died, He died to sin once for all; but what [life] He lives, He lives to God.
