23Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.

2Mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

21keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

25to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all time, and now, and for evermore. Amen.

25How forcible are words of uprightness! but what doth your arguing reprove?

29Return, I pray you, let there be no injustice; yea, return again, my cause is righteous.

2for the truth’s sake which abideth in us, and it shall be with us for ever:

3Grace, mercy, peace shall be with us, from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

6And this is love, that we should walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, even as ye heard from the beginning, that ye should walk in it.

6Nevertheless he that comforteth the lowly, even God, comforted us by the coming of Titus;

10For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

11For behold, this selfsame thing, that ye were made sorry after a godly sort, what earnest care it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what longing, yea, what zeal, yea, what avenging! In everything ye approved yourselves to be pure in the matter.

54Now then, if thou sawest her, tell me, Under what tree sawest thou them companying together? Who answered, Under a mastick tree.

58Now therefore tell me, Under what tree didst thou take them companying together? Who answered, Under a holm tree.

60With that all the assembly cried out with a loud voice, and blessed God, who saveth them that hope in him.

21And he provided the first part for himself, For there was the lawgiver’s portion reserved; And he came with the heads of the people, He executed the justice of the LORD, And his judgments with Israel.

28And Israel dwelleth in safety, The fountain of Jacob alone, In a land of corn and wine; Yea, his heavens drop down dew.

29Happy art thou, O Israel: Who is like unto thee, a people saved by the LORD, The shield of thy help, And that is the sword of thy excellency! And thine enemies shall submit themselves unto thee; And thou shalt tread upon their high places.
