Amizade

4 Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God.

16 And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, and to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: 17 where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if aught but death part thee and me.

1 And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. 2 And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father’s house. 3 Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.

10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth, and hath not another to lift him up.

10 In love of the brethren be tenderly affectioned one to another; in honour preferring one another;

24 He that maketh many friends doeth it to his own destruction: but there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

20 Walk with wise men, and thou shalt be wise: but the companion of fools shall smart for it.

9 Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man’s friend that cometh of hearty counsel.

33 Be not deceived: Evil company doth corrupt good manners.

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No man hath beheld God at any time: if we love one another, God abideth in us, and his love is perfected in us:

9 He that covereth a transgression seeketh love: but he that harpeth on a matter separateth chief friends.

28 A froward man scattereth abroad strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.

7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God.

1 And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?

13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

9 Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man’s friend that cometh of hearty counsel. 10 Thine own friend, and thy father’s friend, forsake not; and go not to thy brother’s house in the day of thy calamity: better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off.

17 A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

5 Better is open rebuke than love that is hidden. 6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend: but the kisses of an enemy are profuse.

19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

9 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. 10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth, and hath not another to lift him up.

12 And if a man prevail against him that is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

15 No longer do I call you servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I heard from my Father I have made known unto you.
