16 Kaj kiam vi fastas, ne estu kiel la hipokrituloj, kun malĝoja mieno; ĉar ili malbeligas sian vizaĝon, por ke al homoj ili ŝajnu fasti. Vere mi diras al vi:Ili jam ricevas sian rekompencon.

16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
