11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, 1 Pet. 1:15what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, 12 [Luke 12:36;1 Cor. 1:7;1 Thess. 1:10;Titus 2:13;Jude 21] waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and See ver. 10the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn!
