Daniel’s Faithfulness

8 But Daniel *2 Cor. 9:7resolved that he would not *[Lev. 3:17;Ezek. 4:13;Hos. 9:3] defile himself with *[See ver. 5above] the king’s food, or with *[See ver. 5above]the wine that he drank. Therefore he asked the chief of the eunuchs to allow him not to *[Lev. 3:17;Ezek. 4:13;Hos. 9:3] defile himself.
