The Supremacy of God’s Son

1 Long ago, at many times and [Num. 12:6,8;Joel 2:28]in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2 but 1 Pet. 1:20;[ch. 9:26;Acts 2:17] in these last days ch. 2:3he has spoken to us by See Matt. 14:33his Son, whom he appointed Ps. 2:8;Matt. 21:38;See Matt. 28:18the heir of all things, [ch. 3:3]; See John 1:3through whom also he created ch. 11:3the world. 3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and See 2 Cor. 4:4the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. 9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;

therefore God, your God, Isa. 61:1has anointed you

with Isa. 61:3the oil of gladness beyond your companions."

10 And,

Cited from Ps. 102:25-27"You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning,

and the heavens are the work of your hands;

11 they will perish, but you remain;

they will all wear out like a garment,

like a garment they will be changed.1:12 Some manuscripts omit like a garment
