Hebrews 12

6 For *Ps. 94:12;119:67,75;Rev. 3:19the Lord disciplines the one he loves,

and chastises every son whom he receives."

7 It is for discipline that you have to endure. *Deut. 8:5;2 Sam. 7:14;[Prov. 13:24;19:18;23:13]God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
