17 So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to *ch. 2:4;11:2;16:16;22:42;23:10;Mark 8:29;Luke 3:15;[John 1:41;4:25]the Christ fourteen generations.
