Matthew 25

35 For *Isa. 58:7;Ezek. 18:7,16;[James 2:15,16] I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you *ch. 10:42gave me drink, *Job 31:32;Rom. 12:13;Heb. 13:1,2;3 John 5I was a stranger and you welcomed me,36 *[See ver. 35above] I was naked and you clothed me, *[Luke 10:33,34] I was sick and you *James 1:27visited me, *2 Tim. 1:16;[Heb. 10:34;13:3]I was in prison and you came to me.’37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’40 And *ver. 34the King will answer them, *See ch. 10:40,42‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these *ch. 28:10;John 20:17;Rom. 8:29;Heb. 2:11;[ch. 12:50]my brothers,*25:40 Or brothers and sistersyou did it to me.’
