38 Then he said to them, *[Ps. 42:5,6;John 12:27] "My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and *See ch. 24:42watch*26:38 Or keep awake; also verses 40, 41with me."39 And going a little farther he fell on his face *Heb. 5:7and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it be possible, let *See ch. 20:22this cup pass from me; *ver. 42;John 5:30;6:38;Phil. 2:8nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will."
