Judas Hangs Himself

3 Then when *See ch. 26:14Judas, his betrayer, saw that Jesus*27:3 Greek he was condemned, *ch. 21:29he changed his mind and brought back *ch. 26:15the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders, 4 saying, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." They said, "What is that to us? *ver. 24See to it yourself." 5 And throwing down the pieces of silver into the temple, *[2 Sam. 17:23;Acts 1:18]he departed, and he went and hanged himself.
