17 Rom. 3:31"Do not think that I have come to abolish ch. 7:12the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but [Rom. 10:4;13:8;Gal. 3:24]to fulfill them.18 For truly, I say to you, Luke 16:17;[ch. 24:35]until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

17 "Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. 17,18 "Don’t suppose for a minute that I have come to demolish the Scriptures—either God’s Law or the Prophets. I’m not here to demolish but to complete. I am going to put it all together, pull it all together in a vast panorama. God’s Law is more real and lasting than the stars in the sky and the ground at your feet. Long after stars burn out and earth wears out, God’s Law will be alive and working.
