The Call of Wisdom

20 *ch. 8:1;9:3;[John 7:37]Wisdom cries aloud in the street,

in the markets she raises her voice;

21 at the head of the noisy streets she cries out;

at *ch. 8:3the entrance of the city gates she speaks:

22 "How long, O *See ver. 4simple ones, will you love being simple?

How long will *See Ps. 1:1scoffers delight in their scoffing

and fools *ver. 29;ch. 5:12;[Job 21:14]hate knowledge?

23 If you turn at my reproof,*1:23 Or Will you turn away at my reproof?

behold, I will *Joel 2:28;Acts 2:17pour out my spirit to you;

I will make my words known to you.
