2 Rather, we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in deception nor falsifying the Word of God,*Alas, there is no lack of those who deceive and falsify. but by the open proclamation of the Truth*The importance of this is enlarged upon in 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12. commending ourselves to every man’s conscience, in the sight of God.
