About husbands
25 Husbands, love your own wives just as Christ also loved the Church and gave Himself up on her behalf, 26 in order that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of the water: in a word, 27 that He might present her—the splendid Church—to Himself, not having a blemish or a wrinkle or any such thing, but that she be holy and blameless.
