32 Then Jesus said to them: "Most assuredly I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from Heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from Heaven. 33 For the bread of God is the One coming down out of Heaven and giving Life to the world."*Jesus said that ‘bread’ ‘gives life’. Bread was their staff of life; their physical life depended on it. Similarly, our spiritual life depends on Jesus. 34 Then they said to Him, "Lord, give us this bread always."*This seems to be a bit of a change in attitude. They are vacillating. 35 So Jesus said to them: "I am the bread of the Life. Whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes into me will never thirst.*I have underlined ‘never’ because Jesus was very emphatic.
