14 Then one of the twelve, the one called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests 15 and said, "What are you willing to give me so that I deliver Him to you?"Apparently the ‘wasted’ perfume was the last straw for Judas. (If he also finally got the message that Jesus was about to be killed instead of setting up the Kingdom, he may have rebelled.) So they counted out to him thirty silver coins.
