33 Rather, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."These things" refers to food, drink and clothes—the basics. Jesus does not promise luxury. Just how seeking first the Kingdom works out in practice will differ from person to person. It should be obvious that we are not being told to sit around doing nothing.
