25 A woman was there who had been ill from bleeding for twelve years. 26 She’d suffered considerably under the care of many doctors, and had spent all she had. But nothing helped her—in fact she’d grown worse. 27 She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd, and touched his cloak. 28 She was telling herself, "If I can just touch his cloak, I’ll be healed."

29 The bleeding stopped immediately, and she felt her body healed from her disease.
