36 I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you looked after me. I was in prison and you visited me.’ 37 Then those who are right will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and fed you, or thirsty and gave you a drink? 38 When did we see you as a stranger and invite you in, or naked and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick, or in prison, and visit you?’ 40 The king will tell them, ‘I tell you the truth: whatever you did for one of these least important brothers of mine you did for me.’
