31 The law also said, ‘If a man divorces his wife, he should give her a certificate of divorce.’*5:31. Quoting Deuteronomy 24:1. 32 But I tell you that any man who divorces his wife except for sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
