2 A leper approached him and bowed down, worshiping him, and said, "Lord, if you’re willing, please heal me." 3 Jesus reached out and touched him with his hand. "I am willing," he said. "Be healed!" Immediately he was healed from his leprosy.

4 "Make sure you don’t tell anyone," Jesus told him. "Go and show yourself to the priest and give the offering which Moses required as public proof."*8:4. Proof that he had been healed and was ceremonially clean. See Leviticus 14.
