6 Perché ciò a cui la carne ha lanimo è morte, ma ciò a cui lo spirito ha lanimo, è vita e pace;

7 poiché ciò a cui la carne ha lanimo è inimicizia contro Dio, perché non è sottomesso alla legge di Dio, e neppure può esserlo;

8 e quelli che sono nella carne, non possono piacere a Dio.

6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace; 7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile toward God, for it is not subject to God’s law, neither indeed can it be. 8 Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.
