41 Andrew first found his brother Simon and said to him, "We have found the Messiah" (which is translated "Christ").

42 He led Simon to Jesus. Jesus looked at him intently and said,"You are Simon, the son of John. You will be called Cephas" (which is translated "Peter").

41 O primeiro que ele encontrou foi Simão, seu irmão, e lhe disse: "Achamos o Messias" ( isto é, o Cristo ).
