1 ALLORA Gesù fu condotto dallo Spirito nel deserto, per esser tentato dal diavolo.

2 E dopo che ebbe digiunato quaranta giorni, e quaranta notti, alla fine ebbe fame.

1 Then Jesus was led up to the wilderness by the Spirit, to be tempted by the Devil,

2 and having fasted forty days and forty nights, afterwards he did hunger.
