3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [things] in Christ;4 according as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in charity;5 having marked out beforehand [the way] for us to be adopted as sons by Jesus Christ in himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he has made us accepted in the beloved;
