25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

25 Daarom sê Ek vir julle: Moenie julle kwel oor jul lewe -- wat julle sal eet en wat julle sal drink nie; of oor jul liggaam -- wat julle sal aantrek nie. Is die lewe nie meer as die voedsel en die liggaam as die klere nie?

26 Kyk na die voëls van die hemel; hulle saai nie en hulle maai nie en hulle bring nie bymekaar in skure nie, en tog voed julle hemelse Vader hulle. Is julle nie baie meer werd as hulle nie?

27 Wie tog onder julle kan, deur hom te kwel, een el by sy lengte voeg?
