1 And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee. 2 And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me. 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.*2.3 nation: Heb. nations 4 For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.*2.4 impudent: Heb. hard of face 5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.*2.6 briers…: or, rebels 7 And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.*2.7 most…: Heb. rebellion 8 But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.

9 And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein; 10 And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

1 他对我说："人子啊！站起来，我要跟你说话。"2 他对我说话的时候，灵就进到我里面，使我站立起来；我又听见对我说话的声音。3 他对我说："人子啊！我差派你到以色列人那里去，就是到那背叛我的叛逆国民那里去！他们和他们的列祖都得罪了我，直到今日。4 这人民十分顽固，心里刚硬，我差派你到他们那里去。你要对他们说：‘主耶和华这样说。’5 他们或听或不听*他们原是叛逆的民族，也必知道在他们中间有一位先知。

6 "人子啊！至于你，虽然荆棘和蒺藜在你周围，你又住在蝎子群中，你不要怕他们，也不要怕他们讲的话。他们原是叛逆的民族，你总不要怕他们讲的话，在他们面前，也不要惊惶。7 他们或听或不听，你只要把我的话告诉他们，他们原是叛逆的。

8 "人子啊！至于你，你要听我对你讲的话。不要叛逆我，像那叛逆的民族一样。张开你的口，把我赐给你的吃下去！"9 我观看，看见一只手向我伸过来，手中有一卷书卷。10 他把书卷在我面前展开，书卷内外都写上字，写的是哀歌、悲叹和灾祸。
