3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, 4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. 5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

3 Alors Judas, qui l'avait livré, voyant qu'il était condamné, se repentit, et rapporta les trente pièces d'argent aux principaux sacrificateurs et aux anciens,

4 en disant: J'ai péché, en livrant le sang innocent. Ils répondirent: Que nous importe? Cela te regarde.

5 Judas jeta les pièces d'argent dans le temple, se retira, et alla se pendre.

3 Allora Giuda, che lavea tradito, vedendo che Gesù era stato condannato, si pentì, e riportò i trenta sicli dargento ai capi sacerdoti ed agli anziani,

4 dicendo: Ho peccato, tradendo il sangue innocente. Ma essi dissero: Che cimporta?

5 Pensaci tu. Ed egli, lanciati i sicli nel tempio, sallontanò e andò ad impiccarsi.
