5If thieves came to thee, if robbers by night, (how art thou cut off!)Would they not have stolen till they had enough?If the grape-gatherers came to thee,Would they not leave some grapes?

21And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau;And the kingdom shall be the Lord’s.

1If one be found slain in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath slain him:

4and the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which is neither eared nor sown, and shall strike off the heifer’s neck there in the valley:

8Be merciful, O Lord, unto thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people of Israel’s charge. And the blood shall be forgiven them.

1A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one’s birth.

8Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

12For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.

8For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

20Behold, O Lord, and consider to whom thou hast done this.Shall the women eat their fruit, and children of a span long?Shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord?

5And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man.

6Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

27God shall enlarge Japheth,And he shall dwell in the tents of Shem;And Canaan shall be his servant.

22And of Dan he said,Dan is a lion’s whelp:He shall leap from Bashan.

27The eternal God is thy refuge,And underneath are the everlasting arms:And he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee;And shall say, Destroy them.

29Happy art thou, O Israel:Who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord,The shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency!And thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee;And thou shalt tread upon their high places.

5and also those merciless murderers of children, and devourers of man’s flesh, and the feasts of blood;

7that the land, which thou esteemedst above all other, might receive a worthy colony of God’s children.

18But thou, mastering thy power, judgest with equity, and orderest us with great favour: for thou mayest use power when thou wilt.

1For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace,And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest,Until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness,And the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

10Go through, go through the gates; prepare you the way of the people;Cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones;Lift up a standard for the people.

11Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world,Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh;Behold, his reward is with him,And his work before him.

5and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

6and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

7O that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion!When the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people,Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

24being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

27Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

8In God we boast all the day long,And praise thy name for ever. Selah.

23Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord?Arise, cast us not off for ever.

26Arise for our help,And redeem us for thy mercy’s sake.
