4Thus saith the Lord my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;

7How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses.

3And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

1Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

2and sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:

19And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.

4And whensoever the voice went out of his mouth, all they burnt that heard his voice, like as the earth faileth when it feeleth the fire.

5But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master, for it was borrowed.

4let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

2Therefore chastenest thou them by little and little that offend, and warnest them by putting them in remembrance wherein they have offended, that leaving their wickedness they may believe on thee, O Lord.

9Before your pots can feel the thorns,He shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.

2And Joab sent to Tekoah, and fetcht thence a wise woman, and said unto her, I pray thee, feign thyself to be a mourner, and put on now mourning apparel, and anoint not thyself with oil, but be as a woman that had a long time mourned for the dead:

1Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

11And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

6Among the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion;They, they are thy lot:Even to them hast thou poured a drink offering,Thou hast offered a meat offering.Should I receive comfort in these?

9And there is a friend, who being turned to enmity and strifeWill discover thy reproach.

14Then will I also confess unto theeThat thine own right hand can save thee.
