Children and Parents

1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 "Honor your father and mother" (which is the first*Or "is a very important" commandment with a promise), 3 "in order that it may be well with you, and you may live a long time*Literally "be long-lived" on the earth."*A quotation from Exod 20:12 and/or Deut 5:164 And fathers, do not make your children angry, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
