1 Although**Here "although" is supplied as a component of the participle ("spoke") which is understood as concessive God spoke long ago in many parts*Or "portions" and in many ways to the fathers by the prophets, 2 in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the world,*Or "the universe"; literally "the ages"
